SalesReps.io "the App” provides order analytics & management solutions "the Service" to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

  • Order information, including products, sub-total, taxes, etc, for the purpose of allowing you to assign orders to customers
  • Customer names and email, for the purpose of allowing you to assign customers to sales representatives
  • Product information, for the purpose of showing which products are in each order
  • Discount codes, for the purpose of allowing you to assign codes to representatives
  • Transaction information - for the purpose of accurate transaction information

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

  • The Shopify store owner’s name
  • The Shopify store owner’s email address
  • The name of any sales representatives you wish to appear in the app
  • The cart ID of any customer shopping with an affiliate ID (using cookies)
  • (Optional) The email address of any sales representatives

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, or using the following technologies:

  • "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we may use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records for as long as your account is active, unless and until you ask us to delete this information. If you uninstall our app, we will maintain your order information for our records for 30 days, unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. How do we protect your information?

  • Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information you supply (such as a password) is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
  • Pseudonymisation allows us to hide parts of your personal information from view so only we can see it. This means that someone outside of ECC could work on your information for us without ever knowing it was yours.

Data transfers
